As Prolog Fulfilment’s Business Development Manager, myself and our Executive Assistant, Julie Hopkinson were delighted to represent the business at Stand G40 at Packaging Innovations Exhibition 2020 at The NEC in Birmingham on 26th & 27th February.
With the slogan, “the future of branded and inspirational packaging” the Packaging Innovations Exhibition caters for the whole supply chain. The aim of the festival is to help packaging buyers and specifiers find the latest solutions, compare offers in and learn about cutting-edge trends to overcome current challenges they are facing. This year the event was a brilliant industry networking opportunity too!
Housing “the packaging solutions of tomorrow”, the two-day event brings together the whole packaging supply chain under one roof with the following events:
As well as networking and showcasing, industry events like the Packaging Innovations Exhibition are sometimes a rare chance to learn something new whilst away from the office. The event boasted an impressive seminar line up across the following forums:
Specifically, we were exhibiting at the Contract Pack and Fulfilment show, a staple industry event in our business calendar.
A focal point for brand owners and retailers, Contract Pack & Fulfilment is supported by the British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association (BCMPA). The show is the place to come to find professional outsourcing partners, from product formulation and pouch filling to gift packing or fulfilment programmes.
As proud members of the BCMPA, a highlight included networking with the 16 other exhibiting BCMPA members. The BCMPA Hospitality Lounge also provided free advice to delegates.
The BCMPA has over 160 members and is an internationally respected UK based trade association established in 2000. It is regarded highly for promoting the strategy of outsourcing to brand owners, retailers and ecommerce businesses and manufacturers and for being an invaluable resource. Keen to maintain high standards, all potential members are audited by the BCMPA before being accepted into the Association.
