Multi-award winning children’s catalogue business, Great Little Trading Company, has appointed Prolog to handle mail order fulfilment.
Speaking as the two-year contract went live at Prolog’s East Midland’s storage and distribution hub, Commercial Director Ian Dignum commented:
"We are proud that GLTC has come to Prolog. Their success in winning the prestigious ECMOD mail order industry award for three years in succession speaks volumes of a brand pledged to ‘make life for parents easier’.
“In helping GLTC honour that pledge, we are likewise committed to impeccable delivery performance and customer service excellence, and to turning what is already ‘great’ into ‘unrivalled’!”
GLTC merchandise includes toys, care products and home furnishings for children and families, marketed through the company’s catalogues and website.
More than 2000 pallets of stock and 1000 SKUs were transferred to Prolog at the start of 2010 as a result of a contract won on competitive pricing, flexible IT solutions and demonstrable e-fulfilment infrastructure and expertise.
Explaining her company’s choice of Prolog as its storage and fulfilment partner, GLTC Head of Operations, Kathryn Clarke, commented:
“We went to market in search of a partner that would support our growth, be cost effective without jeopardizing our company values and who were equally dedicated to excellent customer service. It has become clear in the short time working with Prolog that they share our dedication to GLTC customers and are committed to helping us improve, grow and build upon our success.”
